- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My 7 year old daughter had an abcess in her foot from playing on the beach. The nurses were wonderful. The doctor was a total monster as far as care of a child is concerned. No bedside manner. No explanation. No introduction!!! He did nothing to calm her. He did not numb the site. Before she was ready he began slicing her foot open, insisting that she couldn't feel it. My daughter was terrified and in a lot of pain. He blamed her "wiggling" on the pain and said I would need some,more people to hold her down.
